Xavier Woods is an American professional wrestler who had started his career in the mid-2000s participating in local promotions such as Ultimate Christian Wrestling, World Wrestling Council, and NWA Anarchy. He then made it into the big leagues when he was admitted into Total Nonstop Action Wrestling where he competed from 2007 to 2010. He signed up a developmental contract with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) later that year and was added to its main roster in 2013. Over the course of his career, he has won several titles including the Deep South Wrestling (DSW) Heavyweight Championship (2007), the East Coast Wrestling Association (ECWA) Super 8 Tournament Championship (2010), the Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) Tag Team Championship, and the Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) World Tag Team Championship. In WWE, as of December 2020, he had won the RAW Tag Team Championship thrice and the Smackdown Tag Team Championship 7 times.

Xavier Woods Facts

While he was still studying at Furman University, Xavier had already started training for a career in professional wrestling. In 2005, he had joined the Ultimate Christian Wrestling promotion.

In 2007, he had bunked college, reached the main office of Deep South Wrestling (DSW), then a WWE developmental territory, and had applied to join them as a wrestler. DSW had reluctantly accepted to give him a tryout, but unfortunately for him, WWE had ended its relationship with DSW just days before he received a contract.

In July 2007, he had won the vacant DSW Heavyweight Championship, becoming the first wrestler to do so without the promotion being affiliated with WWE. He was also the last DSW Heavyweight Champion as the promotion was soon dissolved.

In 2016, he was placed at number 58 in the PWI 500, a list of the ‘Top 500 Singles Wrestlers’ published annually by the Pro Wrestling Illustrated magazine. In 2020, he was ranked number 1 in the PWI Tag Team 50.

He is an online gaming buff and runs a Twitch account under the name AustinCreed. He had even won the online WWE 2K tournament in 2015.
