Watch Francis Ngannou knock Jon Jones out COLD with brutal uppercut in fight simulation on UFC 3

A fight simulation between Jon Jones and Francis Ngannou at heavyweight predicted a brutal second round knockout for 'The Predator' as rumours of a real life match continue to swirl.

With Ngannou coming off fresh from his 20-second demolition of Jairzinho Rozenstruik at UFC 249, the heavyweight landscape appears rather gridlocked.

Champion Stipe Miocic is waiting to recover from an eye injury, while number one contender Daniel Cormier is unlikely to take another fight as he considers retirement.

But defending light-heavyweight champion Jones took to social media in the aftermath of Fight Night Jacksonville as he watched Ovince Saint-Preux make the step up and even accepted the challenge from Ngannou to move up to heavyweight.

As verbal barbs were traded on social media, one plucky YouTuber decided to simulate the fight using EA Sports UFC 3 to gain some sort of insight as to how the fight could go down if it were to take place on 'Fight Island'.

Martial Mind regularly uploads videos of himself playing the game, but decided to let the computer simulate the match.

What unfolded was truly spectacular and only increased the demand to see the contest take place in real life.

After a tentative first round, Jones completed a takedown with ease yet was unable to control the bigger man on the floor.

As he attempted to get up and shoot for another takedown, the Cameroonian slugger landed a trademark uppercut onto the jaw of the pound-for-pound great to end the contest in brutal fashion.

Although 'Bones' shut down rumours of the fight taking place after insisting negotiations had fallen through with the UFC, his manager insisted nothing is ever completely off the table in the fight game.

“Listen, it can always still happen,” Abe Kawa told MMA Junkie Radio.

“One thing we have is a tremendous amount of respect for (UFC president) Dana (White)and the guys up there (at the UFC).

"Whenever the fans really want something to happen, it happens. So that being said, it can always happen.

"That’s never a straight no, it’s not. It can absolutely happen.”
